The Yakima Youth Symphony Orchestra is an organization composed primarily of high school students from around the valley. Rehearsals are on Monday nights during the school year from 6:30-8:30 at the Englewood Christian Church. Feel free to stop by and listen. Students are expected to arrive on time, be tuned up and warmed up, and ready to play at all scheduled rehearsals. Late arrivals are disruptive and discourteous. Call 969-0751 if you are unable to attend rehearsal.
Yakima Ensemble for Strings - known as YES! - rehearsals are held on Monday nights from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the same location. Call Christy Baisinger at 453-2643 if you are unable to attend rehearsal.
Everybody is welcome to attend any of the Board meetings!! Second Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room at Englewood Christian Church. Bring your ideas to share!
